Chelbi Mims is a bit of an infrastructure junkie, which is not surprising given her passion for public service and building up underserved communities. She is a student of public policy and understands what can happen when government attempts to implement change without adequate community engagement. She knows Houston and the Texas Legislature and has an enviable list of local contacts that make her an integral part of the One World Strategy Group’s public affairs and governmental relations team.

If given a choice, Chelbi would be at home curled up on the couch watching the TV show Abbott Elementary instead of chit-chatting at a large cocktail party or sharing every tidbit about her life on social media. Chelbi is active in the community, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, serving as a board member of the Greater Houston Air Alliance Houston and Neighborhood Recovery Community Development Corporation.
